Director of Digital Health Practice at Weber Shandwick
July 2012
I am responsible for developing and implementing digital health engagement campaigns and online communities for a variety of healthcare clients, including pharmaceutical companies, hospitals and health systems, and non-profits.
I lead both Merck Serono and EMD Serono digital accounts, driving the latter to launch its first-ever Facebook application, Notes of Hope. I led the account team through strategy, build/development and launch of this new initiative, which has propelled the client into the next state of true digital engagement. For Merck Serono, I managed a global team through the process of building and launching a global internal social network.
I also work with Weber Shandwick account teams to develop and implement digital strategies for Boston Children's Hospital, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Bausch + Lomb and Charles River Labs.
I helped to spearhead Digital Health Rounds, Weber Shandwick's internal weekly newsletter that highlights key developments in digital health for more than 300 staff members across the US. I have also developed and implemented a US-wide digital health training initiative that has educated more than 100 members of Weber Shandwick's healthcare practice about how to sell and implement digital health programming to our clients.
